Looking to add more positivity to your life?
Have you been giving this 'God Thing' a bit of thought but not sure how to move it from a thought to action?
Maybe you grew up going to church with a relative but then stopped, but now have an inclination to want to explore faith for yourself?
Or perhaps you decided a while ago that you were ready to commit to developing a relationship with God but you just weren't sure of where to start or how to move to the next level.
Growing up there were two main texts that I remember having to commit to memory

John 3:16
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
And
John 10:10
The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I (Jesus is speaking) have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.
Both talk about life. Our life. One however, refers to our future way of living (John 3:16) whilst the other refers to a present way of life (John 10:10)
It is my prayer that as you connect with this site, both your present and future will be impacted for the better.
Each section is designed to help you with a different element of your journey. You can choose where to start, how frequently you visit and whether or not you subscribe.

If you are looking for something positive to scroll through every now and again then subscribing will allow you to dip in and out in that you will be notified of any new blogs and post when they come about.

I would advise though, that if you are serious about taking your life to the next level with God and becoming an abundant life seeker, then regularity is the key.
Get yourself a hard copy of the bible - a version that you understand is really important. One of my favourites is the New Century Version; a notebook (it’s up to you how plain or fancy); some pens, highlighters or colouring pens; and a specific chosen time. It may be different on different days - it could be first thing in the morning or last thing at night. Whilst you are on your lunch break or travelling to and from on public transport (you may opt for the bible app and phone notes section instead). You may miss a day or week, but the key is ‘more often than not’.

Start with Me, Myself and My Bible (Seeking God and His plan for my life through His Word) and The Dialogue (Seeking God and His plan for my life through prayer). In these sections you can follow at your own pace, starting from Matthew Chapter 1 and working your way through. Use your notebook to answer any questions that maybe posed and based on the reading, decide what your lesson of the day will be (feel free to use the one that I’ve shared) and write it down for future reference. Use your colours to highlight any verses that really stand out and choose a specific colour for any promises that you may come across. We will be starting with the book of Matthew and continue on throughout the New Testament.
Even now I often find it hard to pray. Whether it is because my mind wonders off and gets distracted or because I'm lost for words so find that I don't know what to talk about. The two things that help me the most are; 1) writing my prayers out. This exercise has proven to be beneficial in the long run as it provides me with something to look back on. 2) using the bible as I guide - I would either read a passage and then ask God to help me apply that passage to my life or find prayers and use them as a skeleton for my own. The Dialogue has been designed to be an example of how we can use scripture as a basis or focal point for our prayers. As time goes on you will be able to read a range of prayers from people from all walks of life. The one thing they will have in common is that they would have used one of the Psalms as an outline for their prayer.
I would love for you to share your highlighted verse, life lessons and prayers with others who will read this website; so go ahead and send them to me via the contact page so that I can add them. You can choose to remain anonymous if you want (wink, wink).

Lastly, always feel free to contact me through the contact page if you want more help on your personal journey, if there are any themes that you would like more clarity on or if you have any ideas for future posts.
